Returning 3-year starter Senior, Kalena Asbill, is looking forward to the upcoming season. Kalena Asbill was the wolves leading scorer the past 2 year. “I think that we have a good chance to go places this year, because we have a lot of returning player.” Kalena is expected to carry a lot of the load this year being that last year she was an all-conference and all-area player.

Two year returning starter Shelby Strailey is quite excited about this upcoming season. “We are a offensive team, something we haven’t been as great in the past because of this we get focus a lot on defense during practice. This gives a good chance to focus on things that we are lacking in.” I asked Shelby what it was going to be like switching to the Big 8. “Moving to that big 8 is going to be tough, because there are a lot of good teams in the big 8.”

Brooke Davis a returning starter that carried a big load for being a lower class-men last year. Brooke is going to be a Junior this year with expectations. “We have a lot of lower class-men that are pretty good and can help us this year. I am very excited to bring in the freshman this year.”
